Introduction
Based on a strategic partnership with a major local authority NPG has developed the innovative tailored "Procurement Services for Schools" (PSfS).
PSfS provides a specific range of comprehensive procurement services available to all educational establishments, tailored to meet the particular demands of this environment. This service offers various levels of support and establishments can decide which level of service is appropriate to them. Support and advice is provided from professionals with a wealth of experience in public sector procurement, who are qualified through the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS).
The main aspects of the service provided by PSfS include: -
- Core Service - which includes procurement advice and guidance in accordance with public sector and legislative requirements; where an appropriate relationship exists this will also include guidance in accordance with any established local or council rules or procedures;
- Enhanced Service - attractive to schools because of the ability to access specialist procurement assistance a times when schools are involved in particular initiatives / projects;
- Procurement Training - is available at various levels to suit all skill and knowledge bases - including practical workshops;
